John Misiniec, 70, of Franklin, IN passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN.  He was born October 23, 1951 in Franklin, IN to Andrew James "Andy" Misiniec Sr. and Grace M. (Blankenship) Misiniec.

He was 1969 graduate of Franklin Community High School where he was a member of the Future Farmers of America and a 10 year 4-H member. John was also a 1973 graduate of Purdue University receiving a degree in animal science.

A lifelong cattleman in Indiana and Missouri, he bred the 1991 Indiana State Fair Grand Champion Angus Bull "Banker".  He was also a co-owner of the Destination Cattle Company.

Survivors include his sister Judy A. Misiniec of Trafalgar, IN, brother Joe Bill Misiniec of Franklin, IN, sister-in-law Susie Misiniec of Franklin, IN, nephew Jason A. Misiniec (Heather) of Bicknell, IN, nieces Jennifer Westerfeld (Thad) of Franklin, IN, Jessica Coy (David) of Greenwood, IN and Jill Down (Aaron) of Wyoming, IL and several great nieces and nephews, a special friend McKenzie Craig and loyal friend Duke.

He was preceded in death by his father on October 19, 1994, his mother on March 15, 2014, his brother Andrew James "Jim" Misiniec Jr. on December 13, 2005 and sister Janet Ann Misiniec on June 8, 2020.

Services will be private.
