Obituary

Joseph Michael Thompson, 43, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

He was born January 17, 1982 in Indianapolis; IN.  Joe was a graduate of I.U.P.U.I. and worked as a Safety Director in logistics.

He married Rachael Danielle (Briggs) Thompson on May 6, 2016 in Indianapolis; she survives along with their children Tristan, Quinn, Liliann, and Tucker.  Also surviving are his mother Peggy Ann (Thompson) Spaulding and his sister Tina Martin both of Indianapolis, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father Jay Spaulding.

Most importantly about Joe was that he loved his wife and children more than words can describe.  Joe showed his love for his family every day and always made sure they knew how important they were to him.  Joe also loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his faith was very important to him, he attended Victory Christian Church in Franklin, IN.  Joe enjoyed traveling regularly with his family, fitness, watching Colts and Pacers games, playing basketball with his son Tucker, teaching his oldest Tristan about working on cars, and taking his daughters Quinn and Liliann shopping for all the things girls like to shop for.  He made sure daily to let his wife know he adored her by dropping off lunch, treats, and flowers to her at the office often, and always made her breakfast before work.  He poured his heart into his family.
