Judith Ann "Judy" Bell, 61, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born April 3, 1962 in Franklin, IN to Verness Bell and Ethel Belle (Sturgon) Bell.

Judy was a jack of all trades, a fiercely strong and independent woman who worked as a CNA, as vet assistant, then for animal control, then home health, an office manager, taking care of her parents before their passing and though she was disabled she lent her hand to help with fundraising for various organizations and causes like animal rescues and the Franklin Strong fundraisers. She had a servants heart.

Survivors include her daughter Kayla A. Mettura (Johnny Randol) of Bargersville, IN, her grandchildren Libby, Luka, Liam, Gauge, Cody, Paxton and Hudson, a brother Tom Bell (Kathy) of Indianapolis, IN, sisters Luana Snoke (Erick) of Toney,and niece Amy Bell of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Dustin Mettura on December 16, 2020, brothers Reverend Michael Bell and Larry Bell Sr.

Pastor Jeremy Towne will conduct a service on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 4:30PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 3PM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
