Judith Ann "Judy" (Jasper) Stewart, 82, of Bargersville, IN passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born June 15, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to James Roy Jasper and Ethel Berniece (Heaton) Jasper.  She married Charles F. "Charlie" Stewart on May 2, 1959 at Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood, IN; he preceded her in death on November 12, 2022.

Judy was a 1959 graduate of Center Grove High School.

She along with her husband Charlie were lifelong grain, hog, and dairy farmers in the Bargersville Community alongside her family.  Judy also had been a program technician for the Farm Service Agency "FSA" in Franklin, IN for twenty years.

Judy was a member of First Christian Church in Bargersville, IN where she served in the church nursery, taught Sunday School and assisted in summer vacation Bible School, a member of the women's prayer group and had served as a deaconess.

She was a Master Gardener and a past member of the Trafalgar Garden Club.

Judy alongside her husband Charlie were 4-H Leaders of the Bargersville Blue Ribbon Boys and Girls 4-H Club for several years.

She established and maintained the roadside flower gardens on the family farm after retirement.  Judy felt blessed to raise their family on the farm having all four children live within three miles of the farm.

Survivors include her sons Doug Stewart (Julie) of Bargersville, IN and Dennis Stewart (Pam) of Bargersville, IN, her daughters Teresa J. Mitchell (Steve) of Bargersville, IN and Angela Huffine (Richard Jr.) of Bargersville, IN, grandchildren Ashley DeJulio (Brent), Evan Stewart (Alison), Sam Stewart, Emily Stewart, Charles Stewart, Melissa Coffee (Kenny), Katie Bowman (Devon), Richard  Huffine III, Mary Huffine , great grandchildren Mia DeJulio, Leo DeJulio, Skylar Stewart, Alaina Stewart, Braxton Stewart, Bryson Stewart Collins, Trey Insley, Braydon Coffee and Bristol Jasper Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters Margaret E. Williams and Susan Marie Jasper.

Pastor Dustin Hite will conduct a service on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
