Obituary

Kathie Sue "Susie" (Lindle) Harris, 73, of Bargersville, IN passed away Monday, March 10, 2025.

She was born September 18, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to Chester Perry Lindle and Florence Elsie (Surface) Lindle.  She married Lowell David Harris on October 10th, 1969 at Honey Creek Church, he survives.

Kathie was a hairdresser for many years and a bus driver for the Center Grove Community School Corporation.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Kathie was passionate about hair, nails and everything girly.  You rarely saw her go without her hair curled, her nails and make-up done, and jewelry on.  She loved laying on a raft in her pool and getting tanned.  Her favorite sound in the world was hearing her kids and grandkids laugh.  She lived for her family, cooking out and throwing a party at her home of over 30 years was her happy place.  She was the secondary mother to many other children, treating them all just like her own.  Kathie also loved the beach and the ocean.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years David Harris of Bargersville, IN, her son Nicholas Harris (Natalie Raimond) of Bargersville, IN, her daughters Emilie Barger (Toby) of Franklin, IN and Becky Estep of Franklin, IN, grandsons Vinnie Harris and Frankie Harris, five granddaughters Emani Inman (Josh), Amara Hill, Ava Hill, Jasmine App and Cloey App, a brother Doug Lindle (Pam) of Whiteland, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Chester Perry Lindle and Florence Elsie (Surface) Lindle, her sister Gloria Scantland and brother-in-law Kenneth Scantland.
