Kathleen Kae (Taylor) Julian R.N., 88, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN.

She was born June 7, 1934 at Witham Hospital in Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana to Carl Thomas Taylor and Olive Bernice (Edrington) Taylor.  She married Martin L. Julian Sr. on August 5, 1956 at Pleasant View Church in Boone County, IN, he survives.

Kathleen was a 1952 graduate of Dover High School in Boone County, IN and a 1955 graduate of General Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, IN.

She had been a Registered Nurse at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN for thirty-five years having practiced as an emergency room nurse, pediatric nurse and floor nurse.

She was a member of Whiteland Church of Christ, Dover High School alumni association and the General Hospital School of Nursing alumni association.  Kathleen enjoyed needlework, reading and especially being a grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her husband Martin L. Julian Sr. of Franklin, IN, her children Martin L. Julian Jr. (Deb Stubbeman) of Franklin, IN, Angie D. Carson (Scott) of Needham, IN, Timothy T. Julian (Melissa) of Springfield, NH and Lora D. Richardson of Rockville, MD, five grandchildren Danny Julian, Bradford Julian, John Eric Carson (Callie), Tyler J. Carson (Marie), and Kara Brown (Collin), three great-grandchildren John Weston Carson, Lincoln Carson and Kai Brown, and a boatload of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her parents and sister Becky Schafer, brothers C. Thomas Taylor and Lloyd Kent Taylor, preceded her in death.

Pastor Ronnie Hewitt will conduct a service on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
