Kristen Michelle (Allen) Roy, 38, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born September 30, 1982 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN to Philip Wayne Allen Sr. and Lori Ruth (Black) Allen.

She was a 2001 graduate of Franklin Community High School.  Kristen had been a cashier at Babbs Supermarket in Spencer, IN.  A member of Torch House in Terre Haute, IN and Grace Place in Spencer, IN.  She was devoted to God and enjoyed watching movies.

She married Matthew Aaron Roy on December 12, 2020, he survives.  Also surviving are her parents Philip Wayne Allen Sr. and Lori Ruth (Black) Allen of Franklin, IN, sons Collin Gregory Webb and Dominic Allen Webb both of Franklin, IN and Elijah Levi Roy at home, a brother Philip Wayne Allen Jr. (Katie) of Plainfield, IN, sisters Heather Nicole Eads (Travis) of Franklin, IN, Tonya Brianne Cruser (Brett) of Columbus, IN and Courtney Danielle Burke (Chris) of Franklin, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Melinda Tatman will conduct a service on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 3PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends can connect at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/kristen-roy .  Please use Firefox Internet or Google Chrome for optimal viewing.  Friends may call Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1PM until the 3PM service time at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
