Larry C. Edwards, 71, of Franklin, IN passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN.  He was born January 14, 1950 in Danville, Kentucky to Estel Clayton Edwards and Ruby (Lee) Edwards.  He married JoEllen (Dragoo) Edwards on October 28, 1967 in Franklin, IN, she survives.

Larry had been a car sales associate for Matlock Ford in Franklin, IN for 20 years.  He also owned and operated Edwards Farm Machinery and also enjoyed farming and raising horses.

He was a charter member and life member of the Amity Volunteer Fire Department, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, Devol Masonic Lodge #766 in Franklin, Double YY Saddle Club lifetime member.  Larry enjoyed hunting, working on and restoring cars, golfing, playing music, listening to classic country and blue grass music and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife JoEllen (Dragoo) Edwards of Franklin,, IN, two daughters Jennifer Margason (Bill) of Indianapolis, IN and Stacy Edwards of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren Robby Margason (Alex) of Indianapolis, IN, Tyler Margason of Indianapolis, IN and Samantha Margason of Indianapolis, IN and one great-grandchild Liam Margason.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Garry Edwards and Terry Edwards.

Walter Fletcher will conduct a service on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com larry-edwards.  Friends may call Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.

Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
