Leonard A. Elbaor, 68, of New Whiteland, IN passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born May 16, 1953 in East Chicago, Indiana to Leonard A. Elbaor and Rosemary (Sudac) Elbaor.  He married Elizabeth A. (Demshar) Elbaor on July 15, 1983 in Dyer, Indiana, she survives.

He attended the University of Nebraska where he played basketball. Leonard also enjoyed golfing, college basketball and was an avid I.U. basketball fan.

Leonard was raised and of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth A. (Demshar) Elbaor of New Whiteland, IN, son Jeffery Elbaor (Melissa) of Highland, IN, two stepsons James Swaim (Patricia) of Trafalgar, IN and Michael Swaim (Roxanne) of Biloxi, MS, one granddaughter, two step-grandsons, three step-granddaughters and two step-great-grandchildren, a brother Gregory Elbaor (Colette) of St. John, IN and a sister Karen Lewis of Hammond, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Father Tim Decrane will conduct a service on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 3PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at www.swartzmortuary.com .  Friends may call Sunday from 1PM until service time at the mortuary.
