Linda Kay (Frazier) Froelich, 77, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Independence Village at Stones Crossing, Greenwood, IN.
She was born November 20, 1946 in Franklin, IN to John and Dorothy (Walters) Frazier. She married Edward Frank "Ed" Froelich on April 22, 1967 at St. Roch Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN, he preceded her in death on February 22, 2022.
She had been a hairdresser in Indianapolis, IN and Ed a barber, and that is where their lifelong love began. She also worked in retail, and a short time with the Whiteland Police Department as a dispatcher. She devoted her life and heart to faith in Christ Jesus and family. She loved to read, sew, fish, and play cards (always winning at cards).
Survivors include her daughter Katherine Mitchell (Craig) of Greenwood, IN, grandchildren Marcus Hanger, Sarah Goodwin (Kyle) and Rachael Hanger (Austin Macy), great-grandchildren Kameron and Kinsley Goodwin. Upon the marriage of Kathy and Craig, she also welcomed three bonus granddaughters, their husbands, and seven bonus great-grandchildren to the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Edward John Froelich on July 21, 2012 and three brothers.
Pastor David Mark Owens will conduct a service on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/lindafroelich. Friends may call Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
