Linda S. (Horne) Hill, 79, of Franklin, IN passed away passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her residence.  She was born April 10, 1942 in Lackey, Kentucky to Isidore and Alice (Saunders) Horne.  She married Neil H. "Handsome" Hill on December 29, 1961 in Floyd County, Kentucky, he survives.

She was a loving homemaker and a gourmet cook.  She also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Franklin Ward.

Survivors include her husband Neil H. "Handsome" Hill of Franklin, IN, her children Alice "Cassie" Hill of Franklin, IN, Strait Hill (Kimberly) of Columbus, IN, Brian Hill of Fort Knox, KY and Heather Herald of Greenwood, IN, grandchildren Jacob Hill (Hyerim), Drew Hill, Daniel Hill (Hillary), Sarah Katowski (Derek), Madeline Hill, Bryce Hill, Cassie Corceli "CC" Herald, Kamon Herald, Kyle Herald, Amy Rose Herald, Artie Herald and Will Herald, great-grandchildren Myles Kotowski, Capri Kotowski, Jade Kotowski and Skye Kotowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents Isidore and Alice (Saunders) Horne, brothers Woodrow Horne, Willard Horne, Oscar Horne, Kamon Horne and Franklin Horne, sisters Maxine Wilhelm, Mildred Ratleff Horne and Jenny Baker.

A service will be conducted on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com . linda-hill.  Friends may call Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
