Lucas James Harmon, 35, of Franklin, IN passed away Monday, November 27, 2023.

He was born May 4, 1988 in Franklin, IN to Steve D. and Kelly A. (Pingleton) Harmon.

Luke was a 2006 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

He was an owner operator truck driver who loved to travel the country and meet new people.

Luke enjoyed being on the lake with his friends, riding his Harley and "wrenching" in the barn with his dad.  He was one-of-a-kind and his loved ones will never forget his infectious laugh.

Survivors include his parents Steve D. and Kelly A. (Pingleton) Harmon of Franklin, IN, his sister Heidi L. (Harmon) Gant and brother-in-law Kyle Gant of Franklin, IN, a niece Poppy Gant, maternal grandmother Jane (Simon) Pingleton Tames (Larry) of Greenwood, IN, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

His paternal grandparents Ray and Norma (Cunningham) Harmon, maternal grandparents John and Mary Lou (Cleary) Pingleton, preceded him in death.

Pastor Josh Cadwell will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4PM until 7PM at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Upstream Preventions Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Initiatives of Johnson County at www.upstreamprevention.org
