Lucille (Shepherd) Tucker, 73, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, August 11, 2023.

She was born May 3, 1950 in Beech Grove, IN to Clarence and Susie (Petry) Shepherd.

Lucille was a 1968 graduate of Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, IN.

She retired as a secretary in 2001 from Indianapolis Power and Light after 20 years of service.  She previously had worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Indianapolis, IN.  She also worked part time at the Orchard Golf Center in Greenwood.

She was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.  Lucille enjoyed crafts.

Survivors include her son Nicklaus Craig "Nick" Tucker of Franklin, IN and her sister Betty French of Corbin, Kentucky.  Also surviving is her sisters family whom she loved very much and talked about them all the time.

Philip Tucker, whom she was formerly married to, preceded her in death along with her parents.

Pastor Doug Rumsey will conduct a service on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 4PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 2PM until service time at the mortuary.
