Lynsie Baines (Wright) Gabbard, 47, of Mooresville, IN passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 5, 1978 in Indianapolis, IN to William Fred Wright and Ruth Ann (Baines) Wright.  Lynsie married Stephen Curtis Gabbard on August 20, 2005 at Old Union Church in Edinburgh, IN, he survives.

Lynsie was a 1997 graduate of Mooresville High School.

She loved taking care of children as she gravitated to them and they in return gravitated to her.  Lynsie loved children.

She was active supporter of her husband Stephen in the Outsiders Charity Club.  Lynsie enjoyed live music with her husband.

Survivors include her husband Stephen Curtis Gabbard of Mooresville, IN, her parents William Fred Wright and Ruth Ann (Baines) Wright of Franklin, IN, her fur baby boy Benji at home, sister-in-laws Stephanie McCormick (Everett) of Edinburgh, IN, Barbara Kennedy of Edinburgh, IN and Amy Miller (Scott) of Franklin, IN, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Pastor Scott Stein will conduct a celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, October 4, 2024 at 5PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/lynsiegabbard. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 2PM until service time at the mortuary.

A gathering will follow the service at Frenchy's Pub in Morgantown, IN.
