Marcia Carole (Powell) Reeves – Westwater, 77 of Franklin, IN and formerly of Nineveh and Greenwood, IN passed away Friday, May 26, 2023.

She was born May 30, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph Franklin Powell and Alberta Mae (Campbell) Powell.

She married Kenneth P. Reeves on September 3, 1966 at Fairhaven Christian Church in Franklin, IN.  She later married Alan Gene Westwater on December 31, 1994 at Greenwood Christian Church; he preceded her in death on December 18, 2008.

Marcia was a 1963 graduate of Trafalgar High School, attended IUPUI and was a graduate of IVY TECH.

She had been a surgical technician at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, and late a project manager for Endocrinology, and formerly a teller and assistant manager at Union Bank and Trust in Johnson County, a realtor at 4-Way Realty at Stones Crossing, Greenwood and owned and operated her own floral business.

Marcia enjoyed crafts, flowers, designing beaded jewelry, cooking and loving all animals.

Survivors include her former spouse Kenneth P. Reeves of Franklin, IN, her sons Jeffrey P. Reeves (Gina) of Franklin, IN, Timothy J. Reeves (Amanda) of Franklin, IN and Kenneth W. Reeves of Franklin, IN, grandchildren Jeffrey P. Reeves II (Melissa), Christian T. Reeves, Travis K. Reeves (Desiree), Josie M. Reeves, Jessie R.J. Reeves and Jadlyn C. Reeves, a great granddaughter Braelyn Marie Reeves, a sister in law Linda Cope (Larry) and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband and eight brothers and seven sisters preceded her in death.

Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Friday June 2, 2023 at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Thursday June 1, 2023 from 4PM until 7PM at the mortuary.  Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
