Marilyn Rae (Adams) Gilvin, 88, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

She was born July 13, 1937 in Santa Monica, California to Perry Samuel Adams and Mary Livingston (White) Adams.

Marilyn married Clarence Seaman Gilvin; he preceded her in death on January 31, 2024.

She had served as a business manager in the insurance services.

Survivors include her niece Laurie Ann Young (Perry) of Pontotoc, MS, one great-niece, two great-nephews, two great-great-nieces and four great- great-nephews

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Eloise Adams Buzzard.

Services are private.

Ennichement will take place at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
