Obituary

Marjorie Marie (Strebel) Noe, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 12, 1948 in Beech Grove, IN to Valentine Joseph Strebel and Elizabeth Marie (Rolley) Strebel.  She married Frederick Jerry Noe on January 20, 1974 in Indianapolis, IN; he preceded her in death on April 22, 1999.

Marjorie was a 1966 graduate of Southport High School.

She had been a customer service representative for FEDEX on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis, IN for ten years.  She previously had worked at L.S. Ayers and Company and Comcast both in Indianapolis. Marjorie was also known as the lunch lady at Franklin Middle School.

Marjorie was a crafter and enjoyed sewing, crochet, needlepoint, painting and drawing.  She especially enjoyed her grandbabies.

Survivors include her daughters Ahna C. McCue (Tim) of New Whiteland, IN, Holly Marie Weidekamp of Indianapolis, IN and Noelle L. Christy of Greenwood, IN, her grandchildren Autumn Norton (Erik) of New Whiteland, IN, Tyler Christy of Brownsburg, IN, Briahna McCue of Greenwood, IN, Emily McCue of New Whiteland, IN and Ellie McCue of New Whiteland, IN, her great-grandchildren Mason Norton, Addison Norton, Beau Walker Christy and June McCue, her sisters JoAnn Pogue of Greenwood, IN and Judy Doyle of Indianapolis, IN and her fur babies Jacky and Alonzo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister MaryAnn Baker and brother-in-law Charles "Charlie" Pogue.

Services will be private.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.

Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
