Mary Helen (Pinckley) Plummer, 82, of Trafalgar, IN passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 30, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to J. Frank Pinckley and Ethel Virginia (Weber) Pinckley.  Mary married Danny Bryce Plummer on August 27, 1961 at First Christian Church in Bargersville, IN; he preceded her in death on July 1, 2024.

Mary had been a secretary at Farm Bureau Insurance in Indianapolis, IN for several years.  She previously had worked at First Financial Bank in Bargersville, and was a library aid at Center Grove High School.  Mary also worked alongside her husband Danny with their communication company Call Us Inc. for many years.

She was a member of Bargersville First Christian Church for sixty years and typed the church calendar on a manual typewriter for years.  Mary and Danny square danced with friends, traveled and played euchre.  She also sewed, making many of her daughter's school clothes, loved crafting, gardening, canning, girl's day out with her friends, antique and thrift stores, and spending time with her grandkids.  Mary's favorite hobby was her flower gardens where she spent most of her free days in the spring and summer.  She was an Indianapolis Colts fan and Indiana Pacers fan and recently a Kansas City Chiefs fan.  Mary had also served as a Girls Scout leader for troop #588.

Survivors include her two daughters Shelly Wise of Franklin, IN and Sheri Plummer-Parks (Rick Parks) of Martinsville, IN, her grandchildren Richard Cramer (Mandy), Jeff Wise (Ximena), Joseph Wise (Rence), Grace Lowrey (Andrew), Mary Alexandria Williams, Austin Williams (Makenna), Andi Tunks and a great-granddaughter Lainey Lowrey, a sister Fran Pinckley of Franklin, IN, and a brother-in-law Duane Plummer (Melinda) of Bargersville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Diane Plummer.

Pastor Dustin Hite will conduct a service on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/maryplummer.  Friends may call Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1PM until service time.
