Mary "Sue" (Titsworth) Stewart, 83, of Bargersville, IN passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, IN with her family by her side.
She was born November 16, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana to Wilbur Titsworth and Cora (Lyons) Titsworth. She married Thomas Jackson "Tommy Jack" Stewart on November 16, 1963 at First Christian Church in Bargersville, IN, he preceded her in death on June 22, 2019.
Sue was a graduate of Franklin High School.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Bargersville, IN. Sue enjoyed crocheting, sewing, flowers, gardening, and front porch sitting. She enjoyed bowling. Sue had a giving heart and dearly loved her family.
She was a loving homemaker and later served as a customer service representative for Specialty Connector in Franklin, IN for several years.
Survivors include her two sons Thomas Jackson Stewart Jr. (Melissa) of Franklin, IN and James Edward Stewart (Marcy) of Franklin, IN, her four grandchildren Travis Stewart, Sydney Stewart, Hailey Stewart and Hanna Stewart, a sister Norma McMurray (Ronald) of Franklin, IN, and a sister-in-law Nyla Hilt (Joe) of Franklin, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Charles Stokes, Edward Titsworth, Marge Tunks, and Pat Taylor.
Pastor Dustin Hite will conduct a service on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/marystewart.com. Friends may call Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
