Nila (Guffey) Perkins, 63, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born July 23, 1960 in Franklin, IN to John and Mary (Richards) Guffey.  She married Randall "Randy" E. Perkins, he survives.

Nila was a self-employed crafter.  She was a loving homemaker.

Survivors include her husband Randall "Randy" E. Perkins of Franklin, IN, a sister Brenda Brockman (Ernest) of Russell Springs, KY, a brother Carl Guffey Jr. (Sue) of Russell Springs, KY, three special young ladies Amanda Holt of Franklin, IN, Megan Mursener of Franklin, IN and Danielle Caviness of Franklin, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary (Richards) Guffey, three sisters Martha Greer, Marie Wortman and Nettie Lafollett, and a brother Bobby Joe Guffey.

Pastor Bill Turner will conduct a service on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 2:30PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/nilaperkins.  Friends may call Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 12:30PM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
