Olive L. (Bobbitt) Wisehart Johnson, 100, of Franklin, IN and formerly of Bedford, IN passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community in Franklin, IN.  She was born September 15, 1922 in Hardinsburg, IN to S. Claude and Flossie M. (Bell) Bobbitt.  She married Dr. Jerome M. Johnson on February 5, 1971, he preceded her in death on February 8, 1992.

She was a graduate of Paoli High School in Orange County, IN and served as a nurse's aide for Paoli Hospital.  She later obtained a certification in cosmetology and operated her own shop in Hardinsburg, IN as she raised her family.

Olive was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Bedford, IN and the Milltown Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 412 where she had served as a past Worthy Matron.

Her enjoyment in life was doing and serving others.

Survivors include her daughters Ann L. Glass (Bill) of Franklin, IN and Linda S. Wisehart (Dee Baker) of Fennville, Michigan, grandchildren Jon Sablan and Michael Sablan both of Ramona, CA, Eric Wisehart of Hardinsburg, IN, Erin Wisehart (Becky) of Salem, IN and Leigh Ann MacManaway (Sam) of Orleans, IN, six great grandchildren, a brother Albert Ray Bobbitt (Enid) of Greenwood, IN and a sister Betty Smith of Bosman, MT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dr. Jerome M. Johnson on February 8, 1992, a son George A. Wisehart Jr. on November 10, 2021 and a granddaughter Lisa Sablan.

Chaplain Deb Baker will conduct a celebration of life service on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 11AM at the Wright Chapel of Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community, 1070 West Jefferson Street Franklin, IN 46131 where the family will receive friends from 10AM until service time at the Wright Chapel.

Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
