Patricia Ann
Meyer
December 4, 1946 — November 20, 2025
Formerly of Greenwood
Patricia Ann Meyer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and active member of the community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, just weeks shy of her 79th birthday. Ann resided in Florida with her husband, Fred, and her beloved St. Bernard, Huxter. She was a former resident of Greenwood, IN.
Born on December 4, 1946, Patricia, known affectionately as "Ann" to her friends and "Honey" to her cherished grandchildren, dedicated her life to her family and friends. Ann was a deeply committed wife, mother, grandmother and daughter, creating a warm and welcoming home for all who visited. Ann opened her home to many of her children's friends over the years, creating a space filled with food, laughter, encouragement, and love.
Her commitment to service extended beyond her family. Ann was active in several volunteer groups over the years. Ann took particular pride in her nine years of dedication to the Carmel Football Parents Club, where she supported the team and built lifelong friendships. Ann's greatest joy was her family; she was often found driving her grandchildren to school events. Ann spent countless hours at the horse barn and cheering on the robotics team.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Fred W. Meyer III; her four children, John Meyer (Beth), Fred Meyer IV (April), Julie Ann Meyer Arnold (Brian Arnold), and William Meyer. Ann was the proud and adored "Honey" to her four grandchildren: Sydney, Morgan, Sophia, and Gregory. Ann is also survived by her Mother, Patricia Ann Reel and brother David Reel (Felicia).
Ann was preceded in death by her father, John C. Reel.
A private family service and entombment will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation in Indiana give.stvincent.org for nursing scholarships, honoring Ann's commitment to community and her deep love and appreciation for the Ascension St. Vincent Nurses.
