Patricia A. (Threlkeld) Rogers, 87, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 3, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN to Otis Carl Threlkeld and Verna Cleo (Warner) Threlkeld.

Patricia was a 1954 graduate of Whiteland High School.

She had been a business system specialist for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Indianapolis, IN retiring in 1995 after 30 plus years of service.

She was a member and past president of the Franklin American Legion Post 205 Women's Auxiliary, a member of the Whiteland High School of Alumni Association, enjoyed playing euchre,  working crossword puzzles, gardening and joking around with family and friends.  She was a very talented seamstress, and an avid reader.

Survivors include her children Gary Lee Rogers (Koni) of St. Augustine, FL, Kathy Ann Ballou of Franklin, IN, Charles Allen Rogers (Molly) of Phoenix, AZ and Brenda Jo Waltz (Donnie) of Trafalgar, IN, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sisters Carol Elizabeth Hasty of Whiteland, IN and Sharon Sue Threlkeld of St. Augustine, FL.

Her parents, a son Robert Dale Rogers, and her brother Frank Carl Threlkeld preceded her in death.

Pastor Burt Brock will conduct a service on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:30PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .  Friends may call Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
