Patricia Margaret (Conklin) Small, 84, of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022.  She was born February 27, 1937 in New York City, NY.

She was a graduate of Barrington College in Barrington, Rhode Island.

She had been an administrative assistant at Meridian Middle School in Perry Township in Indianapolis, IN for over 25 years.

Patricia made the decision to trust Christ as her Savior at age 13 through the influence of her Sunday School teacher.  She nurtured her faith through Moody Bible Correspondence courses and active involvement in the life of the church as well as active involvement in Billy Graham Crusades in New York City.  She was a faithful supporter to her husband in the local church.

She enjoyed reading, drawing, ornithology, traveling and in retirement, she and her husband were active in the Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin, IN.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Quentin N. Small of Franklin, IN, daughters Kathi Small of Guatemala City, Guatemala and Donna Small Niceley (spouse Timothy Niceley) of Indianapolis, IN, a son David Small (spouse Sandra) of Fort Myers, FL, granddaughter Melissa Niceley Baker (spouse Christopher Baker) of Indianapolis, IN, grandsons Mark Small of Morristown, NJ and Matthew Niceley of Greenwood, IN, and granddaughter Lauren Small of Chester, NJ.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard Conklin, mother Margaret Anna (Baranek) Conklin Thompson, and brother Richard Conklin.

Pastor Art DeBruyn will conduct a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Center Grove Church, 2340 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN at 2:30 pm.  For the wellbeing of the family and all those attending, facial masks or coverings and social distancing are required.
