Patsy (Carlo) Leck, 68, of Nineveh, IN passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at her residence in Nineveh, IN with her family by her side.

She was born October 9, 1957 in Muncie, IN to Logan Carlo and Virginia Pauline (Wilcoxon) Carlo.

She was a 1975 graduate of Delta High School in Muncie, IN where she was a Pom Pom girl and a 1979 graduate of Ball State University earning a degree in Health Sciences.

She made friends quickly with her larger-than-life personality, caring demeanor, and infectious laugh. You couldn't help but to be drawn to her and immediately love her.

For 16 years Patsy was a stay-at-home Mom to her two children, Alex and Amy. She doted over them, was involved in their school's PTA, and even became the room Mother for their Elementary school years.

After her children were grown, she went back to school and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. It was during her work as a CNA that she met the love of her life, John Thomas Leck. The two courted for a year and were married on March 5, 2011.

John and Patsy were true soulmates and completed one another so beautifully. They created a warm and inviting home for all of their friends and family. Patsy loved to host and she was happiest when her kids would come stay the weekend with she and John. Playing cards and Yahtzee, swimming in the lake, having drinks on the back deck, planting her garden and growing flowers, feeding the many wild deer and birds on her property, and talking about life were her favorite pastimes. She loved nature and grew up going to national parks as a child.

She is survived by her loving husband John Leck of Nineveh, IN, son Alexander Krauskopf of Troy, OH, her daughter Amy Maddox (Jason) of Indianapolis, IN, grandson Vincent Maddox and her brother Gary Carlo (Elaine) of Sequim, WA.

She was preceded in death by her father Logan Alonzo Carlo and her mother Virginia Pauline (Wilcoxon) Carlo.

Patsy will be deeply missed. Her warm personality, infectious laugh, beautiful soul, and love for her family will be remembered forever.

A celebration of life gathering will take place Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Loft, 27 West Monroe Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
