Paul Robert Russell, 77, of Greenwood, IN passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 surrounded by his family.

He was born May 21, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to Paul Leo Russell and Dorothy Irene (Sloan) Russell.  Paul married Marjorie C. (Allgood) Russell on August 26, 1964, she survives.

Paul had been a truck driver for fourteen years.  He also enjoyed farming all of his life.

He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, riding motorcycles, especially to Sturgis, South Dakota and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie C. (Allgood) Russell of Greenwood, IN, his children Bobbi Sciscoe (Tony) of Morgantown, IN, Rob Russell (Julia) of Mobile, AL and Craig Russell (Ashley McCool) of Windfall, IN, eleven grandchildren April Goss, Daniel Dittemore (Riesha), Michael Russell (Cassie), Dillon Russell, Seth Russell, Heath Russell, Colton Russell, Dayton McCool, Colton McCool and Ella McCool, great- grandchildren Kiarra Clark, Kaylee Clark, Brennan Kimble, Bella Dittemore, Abby Dittemore and Emma Dittemore.

He was preceded in death by his son Paul Irvin Russell on April 16, 1968, his parents Paul Leo Russell and Dorothy Irene (Sloan) Russell and a brother Lawrence Ronald Russell.

The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
