Phillip "Phil" Lee Sims, 80, of Greenwood, IN passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 surrounded by family. Phil was born in Stinesville, Indiana, on October 30, 1944, to Lloyd and Mary (Kiser) Sims.

Phil found his lifelong partner in Helen Whaley, whom he married on Dec 31, 1962.  Together they built a beautiful family, including their sons Kevin (Philena) and Christopher (Tammy). Phil's legacy continues through his grandchildren, Kaytlin Sims, Ethan Sims and Marissa Sims.  His brother Denny Sims survives.

Phil had a passion for fishing and was devoted to his family. Phil's professional career spanned over several decades in sales for Pitney Bowes, Xerox, Etc. and retiring as Territorial Sales Manager for Amity Leather Products.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Sims, and his brother Michael Sims, and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited.

In keeping with Phil's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of life will be held later to share memories.
