Obituary

Reba J. (Wilson) Derrett, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born November 28, 1946 in Washington, IN to Clifford and Ruby (Osmon) Wilson.  She grew up in Plainville, IN and was a 1964 graduate of Elnora High School and attended Vincennes University.

Reba retired from Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants after 20 years.

She lived a quiet and reserved life and took up painting in her later years.  Her real life-long passion was her love for all animals, having helped hundreds of critters and embracing the "crazy cat lady" reputation throughout her life.  Reba also enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

Survivors include her sons Zane M. Derrett of Indianapolis, IN and Travis D. Derrett and daughter-in-law Ronda Clark-Derrett of Trafalgar, IN, a sister Helen Lambert of Kettering, OH, a nephew Brandon Robinson and his wife Sharon of Kettering, OH and great-nieces Tayla and Kira Robinson, her former spouse Ken Derrett of Cocoa, FL.

Her parents preceded her in death.
