Rebecca Kay (Lewis) Beeson, 72, lifelong resident of Whiteland, IN passed away Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.  She was born March 27, 1950 in Franklin, IN to Jewell Elmore Lewis and Vivian Gertrude (Coovert) Lewis.  She married Kenneth William Beeson on September 23, 1978 at Honey Creek United Methodist Church in Greenwood, IN, he survives.

She was a graduate of Whiteland Community High School.  She had been a commercial underwriter for American States Insurance in Indianapolis for thirty years.

She was a member of the Indianapolis Division of National Association of Insurance Women.

Rebecca enjoyed serving and pleasing others.  Her real enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a diehard Chicago Cub fan and enjoyed and loved cardinals.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth William Beeson of Whiteland, IN, her son Kent Beeson and wife Leslie of Greenwood, IN, step-daughter Barbie Manners of Beech Grove, IN, step-son Randy Beeson of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Kaden, Keelan and Kelton Beeson and Scottie and Marah Manners, and she was number 13 of 18 brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Otto Lewis, Dean Lewis and Kenny Lewis.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com .
