Retha Marie Pasch

July 21, 1936 – August 19, 2025

Retha Marie Pasch, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2025 at the age of 89, she was a resident of Franklin, IN.

Marie was born on July 21, 1936, in Flint, Michigan and spent a life devoted to her family, her work, and the simple joys of everyday life. She worked faithfully at Kroger for 27 years, where her kindness and steady presence were known and appreciated by co-workers and customers alike.

She shared 27 loving years of marriage with her husband, Donald Pasch, building a home filled with warmth, love, and unwavering commitment.

Marie was the proud mother of four children: Donnie, Scott (Erin), Todd (Chandra), and Janet (Matt). She adored her grandchildren—Brad, Chris, Derrick, TK, Josephine, Cayden, Gracie, Zora, and Grayson. She took great joy in watching them grow.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald, and her son Donnie.

She will be remembered for her gentle strength and her quiet dedication to those she loved.

Her memory lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished. She is at peace resting in the arms of Jesus.

The family would like to thank Otterbein Senior Life and Luminary Hospice for the exceptional care they gave to Marie.

Pastor Matt Roller will conduct a service on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/rethapasch.  Friends may call Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.

A private family graveside will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
