Ronald C. "Ron" Witt 78 of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday January 16, 2022 at Sidney and Lis Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born June 19, 1943 in Franklin, IN to Clifton and Marjorie Marie (Barger) Witt.  He married Carolyn Sue (Ford) Witt on June 25, 1961 in Berean Springs, Michigan, she survives.

Ron was a 1961 graduate of Franklin High School.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Franklin.  He enjoyed wood working, genealogy and spending time with his grandchildren.

He had been an insurance agent and mortgage broker.  He also was a window screening repairman and owner of Ron's Screen Repairs and his logo was "You Rip'em, We Fix'em".

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Sue (Ford) Witt of Greenwood, IN, children Richard Daniel Witt of Greenwood, IN, Ronald Patrick Witt (Pamela Jean) of Indianapolis, IN, Mark Andrew Witt (Lori) of South Carolina and Rebecca Lynn White (Lance) of Franklin, IN, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a brother Kenneth Wayne Witt of South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Gordon Witt Sr.

A celebration of life service will be planned at a future date.
