Ryan Keane Hughes, 59, of Greenwood, IN passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born May 3, 1963 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN to Jack Vernon Hughes and Janice Ruth (Casteel) Hughes.

Ryan married Patricia Ann (Forsythe) Hughes on May 19, 1990 at Center United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN; she passed away on June 19, 2022. He had been a security officer.

He was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Decatur Township, Indianapolis, IN, he was an avid Star Wars fan and was a horror movie buff and appeared as an extra in several movies.

Survivors include his sister Mila Silwa (Michael) of New Whiteland, IN, a nephew Christian Silwa, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jimmie M. Langley and Doris Langley of Mooresville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents. His wife Patricia passed away on June 19, 2022.

A celebration of life service for Ryan and his wife Patricia will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church, 5625 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN, 46221 with a visitation gathering from 10:30 AM until service time at the church.
