Sandra Carol (Ledbrook) Hart, 75, of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 in Franklin, IN.

She was born June 23, 1949 in Birmingham, England.  She married Michael W. "Mike" Hart on June 27, 1970 in Birmingham, England, he survives.

Sandra had worked in the accounts payable department of Vinylcraft Inc. in Whiteland, IN for over twenty years.

Sandra and Mike enjoyed traveling and managed to see 49 states, Canada, Mexico, and multiple countries in Europe including multiple trips home to see family.  Sandra enjoyed nights spent with her card club, and drinking margaritas and wine.  She was always the loudest fan for her kids, and she loved spoiling her grandkids.  Sandra loved going to garage sales and buying every winter coat she could find for Coats for Kids. She spent countless weekends with friends and had a very special bond with the ladies in the Chantily Lace Sorority.  Sandra also enjoyed bowling and was in several leagues through the years.

Sandra was an avid Colts fan win or lose.  Family would spend hours on Sundays at her home cheering on the team, always followed by family dinner.  Sandra was also a supporter of Coats for Kids.  Through her donations of thousands of coats to the program, Sandra was honored with being a Horseshoe Hero before the start of a Colts game.  She was awarded a game ball and team jersey while on the Colts helmet on field and was shown on the big screen.  It was a proud moment for her and her family.

Survivors include her husband Michael W. "Mike" Hart of Franklin, IN, her son Zachary M. Hart (Heather) of Franklin, IN, her daughter Kate L. Sexton of Franklin, IN, her grandchildren Ashlyn McFarland-Young (Ashley), Joseph Hart, Slade Sexton and Isabella Hart, great-grandchildren Charlotte McFarland and Dezmond Holden.

She was preceded in death by her father Edward Ledbrook and her mother Daisy (Plater) Whitehead, step-father Edmund Whitehead "Ted", and son Michael Edward Hart

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 3PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/sandrahart.  Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.
