Sandra Willis

Sandra “Sandy” (Mullendore) Willis, 71 of Martinsville, IN, went to be with the Lord after a short illness on July 26, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 15, 1955 in Franklin, Indiana to Donal L. Mullendore and Jessica Marie (Ramsey) Mullendore. She was a graduate of Indian Creek High School, class of 1973. Sandra was owner of Dyno One, Inc. in Edinburgh, Indiana along with her husband Bill J. Willis to whom she was married for 49 wonderful years. He was truly the love of her life. She was also the principal owner of Dyno-Myte Graphics, providing custom-designed apparel for various community organizations. Sandra previously taught preschool at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, and taught remedial education at Indian Creek Middle School while also coaching cheerleading.

She was an active member of The Crossing Church in Nineveh where she served on the praise team and in the children’s programs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary D. Mullendore. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Joshua T. Willis, and his wife Amy of Franklin; daughters, Brooke D. Ramirez, and her husband Mike of Franklin; Brandy D. Ecker and her husband Brandon of McCordsville; James (Willis) Purdue and his wife Christine of Columbus; and Samantha Gutierrez and her husband Jalen of Greenwood; thirteen grandchildren, Maya Hadley, Jackson Willis, Bryndan Wylie, Reagan Willis, Annabelle Ramirez, Will Ramirez, Hadley Willis, Elliette Ramirez, Blaikley Ecker, Gunner Purdue, Carson Purdue, Noah Purdue, and Malachi Gutierrez; and two great grandchildren, Gwenleigh Hadley and Levi Hadley; one sister, Donna Walker of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

What Sandy cherished most were her relationships. She absolutely loved being a mama and that title even stretched beyond her own family. She treasured time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Each one she loved uniquely and unconditionally. She had such a gift for hospitality, hosting countless family get-togethers at her home in Martinsville for birthday parties, swimming, holidays, or just to be together. She shared her gifts of sewing and decorating to help create wonderful memories for countless friends and family throughout the years. One of the great joys of her life was traveling all over the place to watch her grandchildren do the things they loved. She enjoyed their many sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader! She also enjoyed time at the lake with her husband and family.

Her relationship with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, was the most important one of all. She spoke of the Lord so often and lived her life to glorify Him. Her life was one of sacrificial love, service, and generosity leaving a lasting legacy.

“Well done good and faithful servant,” are words she surely heard as she entered into the joy of her Savior.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Fair Haven Christian Church 1476 W. 300 South Franklin, IN 46131 and the service will livestream at 10am at www.fairhavencc.org/watch. .

A celebration of life will immediately follow on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the church.

Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
