Sherry Ann Harlan, 60, left us on Saturday, September 9th of 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the wife of Brian Harlan for 12 years and the closest of friends with him for 15 years more.

Sherry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of Sherlyn Plavsic and Jerry Burnett and graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Sherry worked as an RN at various hospitals in the Phoenix area throughout her career.

She was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Dream City Church for over 25 years. Sherry enjoyed spending time with her children and hiking many different trails in the valley. She will always be remembered for her unwavering love for the Lord, an irrefutable warmth and loving personality in the face of all hardships. She was the pillar of the family who was consulted for her wisdom in all major decisions.

She is survived by her mother, Sherlyn Plavsic, ex-husband, Brian Harlan, children, Micah and Gabriel, sister Judy Sumner, brothers, Jerry E Burnett, Mike Sharp, Mark Sharp, Matthew Sharp, young William Alford, and Steve Burnett. She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Burnett and brother Bill Alford.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15th at 2:30pm at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E Bell Road in Scottsdale. Visitation and viewing will begin at 1pm on the same day.

A graveside service and burial will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
