(Stephanie) Lynn (Arnes) Crist, 70, of Franklin, IN passed away peacefully at Franciscan Hospice House on June 17, 2025.

Lynn was born on December 5, 1954 in Shelbyville IN, to Mary Lou Knowle.  She was adopted by Robert (Bob) Sr. and Loretta (Jean) Arnes when she was 9 months old. To Lynn, Bob and Jean were her true dad and mom.  Lynn graduated from Southport High School in 1973.  She was hired on at Eli Lilly and Co. in 1974. She was one of first women to be promoted to a line mechanic role, then raised to a technical lead role in cleaning validation for injectables products, retiring in 2008.

Lynn was a beautiful woman, tender hearted, loving wife, friend, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crafts like flower arranging, home remodeling projects, traveling (especially in the RV), helping at church, her fur babies, and being Mamaw to her grandson.

Lynn and Jon fulfilled their dream and built a new home on 10 acres near Needham.  Lynn loved her new home and was so proud to show it off. She was a member of Gracepoint Church in Whiteland, IN and was involved in the food panty, ladies bible study, and any help the church needed.

In 1999, Lynn was wonderfully saved by grace when she believed by faith alone that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for our salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  This faith gave her peace in knowing her sins had been forgiven because of His finished work (Romans 3:24).  What a great God we have in Him.  She never got over the day when He reached down and saved her from her sins.  Lynn's wish is that everyone would come to know this wonderful saving grace and accept Him by faith as their Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Lynn married Jon Crist on March 29, 1991, he survives, along with son Sean Middleton (Kim), grandson Carter Middleton, half-brother Robert (Bob) Arnes Jr., her friends and the Gracepoint Church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Sr. (Bob) and Loretta Jean Arnes.

Pastor Zach Scellato will conduct a service on June 23, 2025 at 1 pm at Gracepoint Church, 330 West Whiteland Rd. New Whiteland, 46184, where friends may call from 12 pm until service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Contributions may be made to Gracepoint Church food pantry, 330 West Whiteland Rd. New Whiteland, IN 46184.
