Susan Jo (Price) Ault, 63, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Edinburgh, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born on February 23, 1960 in Franklin, IN to Marcia Carolyn (Hamilton) Price and George Willard Price.

Susan was a 1978 graduate of Edinburgh High School.

She had been a pharmacy technician for Hook's Drug Store in Franklin, IN and cashier for Target.  She previously had been employed by A&P Grocery in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Susan enjoyed crafting, floral design, painting items, and cats.

Survivors include her daughter Aimee Ault (Joel Meador) of Indianapolis, IN, a grandson Henry Meador, siblings, Thomas Randall Short (Judell) of Edinburgh, IN, Michael Short (Melinda) of Shelbyville, IN, Mary Short Lowrie (John) of Minnesota, George Richard Price (Connie) of Brown County, IN and Sheila Price Wooten (Jim) of Franklin, IN as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.

A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.  Friends may call on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12 Noon PM until service time at the mortuary.  Inurnment will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN.
