Terry W. Davis, 65, of Franklin, IN passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his residence.

He was born November 20, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to Edward H. Davis and Doris Eileen (Miller) Davis.

Terry was a 1978 graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis, IN.

He had been an equipment maintenance technician for Harlan Bakeries in Avon, IN for over twenty years.  He previously had worked for Tear Drop Roofing in Indianapolis, IN.

Terry was a proud Eagle Scout.  He was an avid Colts fan, loved feeding his favorite front yard squirrel "Bubba", grew up being a member of the Indiana Twirlers Square Dance Group and enjoyed working in his yard growing flowers especially his Sunflowers.  Terry provided a spectacular 4th of July fireworks show year after year for his family and friends.  Terry will be most remembered for being such an amazing, loving, selfless and giving dad and grandpa.

Survivors include his wife Alberta C. (VanMeter) Kirby of Franklin, IN, a son Cleigh Davis of Indianapolis, IN, daughters Melissa Bartlett (Ryan) of Franklin, IN and Michelle Caudle (Jon) of Franklin, IN, a sister Patti Davis Thein (Ric) of Indianapolis, IN and brother Steve Davis (Paulette) of Dade City, FL, five grandchildren Parker Shepard, Landon Carter, Payton Shepard, Kaidon Carter and Morgan Carter and one great-grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Daniel Davis and Mark Davis.

Pastor Wanda Sharp will conduct a service on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/terrydavis.  Friends may call Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11AM until service time at the mortuary.  Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
