Theresa Fay (McClain) Flake, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born August 10, 1948 in Franklin, IN to Robert Eugene McClain and Ruth Maxine (Smith) McClain Smith.  She married Russell Eugene Flake on September 23, 1968 in Franklin, IN; he preceded her in death on July 15, 1976.

Theresa was a 1966 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

She was employed by Walmart in Franklin, IN in the bakery department where she made donuts.  She previously was the manager of Old Masters Pizza in Franklin.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Robert W. Flake of Franklin, IN, Pam J.  Hartwell of Franklin, IN, David E. Flake of Edinburgh, IN and April D. Flake of Edinburgh, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and an aunt Fran Spaulding of Franklin, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a cousin Brenda Jones Matthews.

Services are private.
