Vivian Lorraine (Scott) Greeson, 75, of Franklin, IN passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Compass Park at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN.

She was born October 25, 1950 in Franklin, IN to Edwin E. Scott and Hettie Pearl (Voorhies) Scott. She married Floyd E. Greeson on October 18, 1985; he preceded her in death on August 19, 2025. Vivian was a 1968 graduate of Franklin Community High School. After graduating from high school, she had been an insurance processor for Indiana Insurance now known as Liberty Mutual for 46 years. After retirement, she worked in the cafeteria at Franklin Community Middle School.

Vivian was a member of Second Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin, IN and Gamma Pi Sorority. She enjoyed rides in the country, visiting Kentucky, working on genealogy, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, shopping, and sitting in her chair doing crossword puzzles. She especially loved going to Buc-ees with her daughter Makayla.

Survivors include her daughter Makayla R. Greeson of Franklin, IN, her brother Ray A. Scott of Franklin, IN, her beloved cats Harvest, Sammy and Casper, her dog Toby and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Pastor Bruce Bannister will conduct a service on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/viviangreeson. Friends may call Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 12 Noon until service time at the mortuary.
