Wanda Mae (Petro) Weekly, 89, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at her residence in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born May 15, 1935 in Franklin, IN to Leslie and Osla (Slevins) Petro.  She married Harry W. Weekly, he preceded her in death on June 7, 2011.

Wanda was a loving homemaker and especially loved gardening.  She also had been employed by Village Pantry on Keystone Avenue and Raymond Street in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include her sons Dennis Weekly (Penny) of Indianapolis, IN and Darrell Weekly of Indianapolis, IN, her daughter Sheila Ridenour of Indianapolis, IN, daughter-in-laws Teresa Weekly and Stephanie Weekly, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Carl Weekly, Charlie Weekly, Samuel Weekly, and Harry Leonard Weekly, a daughter Osla White-Weekly, siblings Leon Albert Petro, Loren Petro, Wilford Petro, Norman Petro and sisters Margie Petro and Cecelia I. "Babe" (Petro) Mitchell.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 12 Noon until 2:15PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN with a graveside service to follow at 2:30PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 100 South Street in Franklin, IN.
