Obituary

Whitney Marie Justice, 35, of Greenwood, IN passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born on August 14, 1986 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the first child born to Michael E. Justice and Kellie M. (Alderson) Canada.  The family later moved to the city of Greenwood where she started and subsequently graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 2005.  Whitney was an outstanding softball player at Whiteland and spent many summers traveling around the state and to the Nationals in Jupiter, Florida.  Whitney's greatest accomplishment was being the first All American athlete in the family as a Varsity Cheerleader.  Whitney had a natural ability when it came to doing hair.  She later enrolled in Regency Beauty Institute.  Maybe Whitney's greatest attributes were those not found in the gym or on the field.  They were the gift of empathy, kindness, laughter, loyalty and family.

Whitney is survived by her father Michael E. Justice of Greenwood, IN, her mother Kellie M. (Alderson) Canada (Gary) of The Villages, FL, paternal grandmother Sandra (Gearner) Justice of Indianapolis, IN, maternal grandmother Alice (Bell) Alderson of Greenwood, IN.

Whitney was preceded in death by her brother; Brandon S. Justice, paternal grandfather Brady R. Justice and maternal grandfather Carroll Alderson. Whitney is survived by many other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew who all dearly loved her.
