Will Lucas Brewer, 29 of Franklin, IN passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

He was born March 20, 1997 in Muncie, Indiana.

Will was a 2015 graduate of Franklin Community High School and he was very proud of earning his CDL license.

He had been a professional motor coach driver. Will also had been a school bus driver for the Franklin Community School Corporation and Clark Pleasant School Corporation.

Will enjoyed driving and especially large transportation vehicles and his Ford Mustang.

He loved playing video games and helping his mother. Will found joy in spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother Nancy L. (Taylor) Ellis of Franklin, IN, his sisters Lyn Cataldi of Indianapolis, IN and Lee Dibble of Williamsburg, VA, his aunts Fran Moore (Bill) of Kenansville, FL and Mary Eck (Bob) of Delaware, OH, one niece, two nephews, several cousins and his fur baby cat “Doc”.

He was preceded in death by his father Reginald Leon Brewer, his stepfather Pastor Ron Ellis, his maternal grandparents C. William “Bill” Taylor and Barbara (Conn) Taylor, his paternal grandparents Forrest Brewer and Grace (Kaiser) Brewer.

Chaplain Brian Farnsley will conduct a memorial service honoring Will’s life on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 4PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/willbrewer.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 2PM until service time at the mortuary.
