Willow Mae Chime, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2026, at just four months old. Her time on this earth was far too short, and the heartbreak of having to say goodbye to our sweet girl is something words will never fully capture.
Born 3 months early on June 17, 2026, Willow Mae entered this world as a tiny fighter. From her very first days, she faced battles no baby ever should have to endure. She fought harder than anyone could have ever imagined, showing a strength that was far greater than her tiny body. Every day with Willow Mae was a gift, and every moment was cherished beyond words.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Taitum Guy and Hunter Chime, her big sister, Hazel Grace, maternal grandparents Derik and Annetta Guy, paternal grandma Cindy Chime and countless aunt’s uncle’s cousins and close friends. Four months was never going to be enough. We dreamed of watching her grow, celebrating birthdays, reaching milestones, and giving her the lifetime of love she deserved. Instead, we are left with broken hearts, precious memories, and an emptiness that can never be filled. She was so wanted, so loved, and so desperately needed here.
We are forever grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Community North NICU who cared for Willow Mae throughout her journey. A special thank you to Jessica and Liz, who became such an important part of Willow's life and our family's journey. We will forever be grateful for the love, tenderness, and compassion you showed our little girl.
There is no preparing for a goodbye that was never supposed to come. Willow Mae should still be here. She should have had a lifetime ahead of her. We would give anything for just one more day, one more moment, and one more chance to hold our girl. Though we only had four short months with her, we will spend the rest of our lives loving and missing her.
Forever our little fighter. Forever our beautiful girl. Forever our Little Peanut
