Wilodene (Sears) Perry, 94, of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at her residence surround by her loving family.

She was born December 8, 1928 in Bowling Green, KY to William Leon Sears and Lurlie Flora (Hewitt) Sears. She married Ralph Cecil Perry on November 15, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, he preceded her in death.

Wilodene had been a Qualified Medical Assistant at Larue D. Carter Hospital in Indianapolis, IN for over twenty years.

She enjoyed playing euchre, reading, talking on the telephone and reminiscing about old photos.

Survivors include her children Steve Perry (Cyndee) of Columbus, IN, Debbie J. Fancher (Dan) of Avon, IN, Patty A. Vaughn (Rick) of Indianapolis, IN and Jackie L. Renfrow (John) of Franklin, IN, grandchildren Angie Uhls (Gary), Leslie Ooley, Lisa Vaughn, Jeannine Perry, Ben Perry (Kristen), five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, her cousin Elizabeth Hammersly of Bowling Green, KY and a brother Cecil Thomas of Carmel.

She was preceded in death by her father William Leon Sears, Lurlie Flora (Hewitt) Sears Thomas, her husband Ralph Cecil Perry on August 15, 1995, her grandchildren Jimmy Brackett, Crissy Brackett, Marty Vaughn, Clint Cooper and Melissa Duke and an infant sister.

Chaplain Mike Crockett will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 12 Noon at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, in Greenwood, IN. Friends may call Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10AM until 11:30AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN.
